Creating Africa’s mobile future

Are you ready for AfricaCom 2023, the continent’s largest telecoms, media and technology event? Join thousands of attendees to see the latest and best in technology, products, practices and expertise for mobile leaders – including DSG.

The Digital Solutions Group, a consistent supporter of AfricaCom, will return to the Cape Town–hosted conference from 14 to 16 November 2023, with its partners, showcasing its mobile enablement solutions at the DSG stand. See how DSG has grown and evolved with the mobile world over the past 25 years, experience what it offers to help organisations in the mobile market, and indulge in its drama-free Chilled ice cre*m!

“We’ve always worked with telcos,” says Yaron Assabi, DSG founder. “From gateways to mobile commerce to billing platforms, customer experience to cybersecurity, we’ve been a part of this market since everyone still used WAP to connect their phones to the Internet and mobile phones did not even have colour screens. AfricaCom is the natural event for us to showcase what we offer and what we’ve delivered.

“It’s also a great opportunity to see new developments in the market, because mobile is changing so fast. It’s always evolving, so are we – and at AfricaCom we’ll show customers how they can as well.”

DSG helps its customers develop omnichannel commerce, customer experiences, mobile virtual network operations, cybersecurity and more. Through top partners and one of the best talent pools in the South African mobile market, DSG delivers modular products and services and end-to-end solutions for large enterprises and medium businesses.

This year, Splunk – which was recently acquired by Cisco for $28 billion – will showcase its digital resilience solutions and how it turns data into profitable insights.

DSG will be co-exhibiting with True I/O, which has patented technology called UCIDTM (Universal Communication Identifier). UCIDTM is a blockchain-enabled, unique ID, digitally stamped onto anything connected to a wireless network.

True I/O will also showcase its Digital Names patent, which will revolutionise mobile payments and allow mobile financial services companies to change complex public wallet keys into a simple $DigitalName. Wallet keys are complex and 30–50 characters long, resulting in millions of assets lost to human error. Digital Names is a single location for sending and receiving digital assets. Cumbersome keys transform into a frictionless, human-readable name securely managed by enterprise-grade blockchain security protocols.

From a customer experience perspective, DSG will showcase QContact and Elerian AI.

QContact provides everything your business needs in a single pane of glass. Let your customers engage with your business, how they want, when they want, and handle every interaction in one unified solution.

Elerian AI will demonstrate how it uses digital agents to transform call centres with fluent automated conversations. With most callers still preferring to communicate with contact centres using voice, it is the company’s mission to prove that voice-based digital assistants can offer a great, human-like caller experience.

DSG’s MVNE (Mobile Virtual Network Enabler) business unit will demonstrate how we offer a comprehensive solution for MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) and help them mobilise their brand.

DSG will also showcase the Lumine Group‘s solutions that empower communications and media companies to reach new potential.

NetEngage will demonstrate how to power next-generation networks for maximum customer engagement. It has over 30 years’ experience of deploying global, telco-grade, real-time solutions and value-added services. Its broad range of pre-integrated products enables rapid deployment and optimised operational efficiency on a single platform.

MDS Global will showcase its Revenue Management Solutions for enterprise service providers, IoT businesses and MVNOs. It will demonstrate how it operates your BSS environment and account receivables with full assurance. The company will also demonstrate beyond business analytics: it builds and operates contextualised engagement campaigns to support personalised retention, cross-sells and up-sells programs through digital and assisted channels.

AfricaCom 2023 is the anchor event for the Africa Tech Festival – a celebration of technology and how it empowers the continent. More than 15 000 people will visit the event to engage with companies such as DSG and enjoy an impressive agenda that includes speakers from South Africa’s highest private and public spheres.

Whether you need insight into your mobile ambitions, specific solutions to a problem, an extensive digital modernisation of your mobile business, or want to share thoughts with like-minded professionals, visit AfricaCom and the DSG stand (D2A).
