A.Shak has been a part of the South African building industry for 66 years. Over that time, we have built a reputation of quality products that can be relied upon throughout a variety of projects.

A.Shak offers a wide range of products from concrete additives to drain cleaners, all of which are formulated to provide the utmost performance for the task at hand. The company has made a name for itself with iconic products such as PlasterKey and DriKon, which are well-respected in the industry.

Founded in 1958, A.Shak set out to make high-quality products and we have stuck to that ethos throughout the decades. Over the years A.Shak has expanded its offerings into the DIY, construction and even craft markets.

We specialise in concrete affiliated products such as shutter release oils, mould release oils and curing compounds used throughout the industry in precast yards and building sites around the country. We also offer a range of waterproofers that can be used to either treat surfaces or to seal up leaking roofs quickly and easily.

A.Shak also offers an impressive range of industrial cleaners such as Konkleen, which is specifically formulated to help remove concrete from tools, scaffolding and tile. LiquiDrain is a particularly powerful drain cleaner that offers impressive results when used as the instructions on the bottle advises.

Our newly created Cameo Paints range offers a wide palette of high-quality decor paint. All our paint is mixed in-house at our head office in Germiston. We also offer a range of stencils and other craft supplies such as clock mechanisms and Hamilton Paint brushes, through our Cameo Decor Paint website.

We also offer a range of woodworking products such as our PVA glue with impressive adhesive capabilities.
