Rewards for early entry into the MasterDrive 2024 Fleet Safety Awards
Following the launch of the third Fleet Safety Awards in May 2024, hosted by MasterDrive, the event has drawn a huge number of entries with competitors hoping for a win.
“More than awards for road safety efforts, a host of other prizes are up for grabs for early entrants who demonstrate an extra boost of enthusiasm,” says Eugene Herbert, MasterDrive CEO.
All entries submitted by 17 July will be entered into a competition to stand a chance to receive one of six outstanding prizes:
- Two tickets to Cape Town Sevens, the South African leg of the World Sevens Series – including travel arrangements.
- Four general access tickets to the Festival of Motoring, Africa’s showcase of automotive excellence, at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.
- Two tickets to the 5th Pan African Supply Chain Awards, which recognise excellence in supply chain development.
- Four tickets to Cape Town’s Boatica, an exhibition billed as the ‘go to’ platform for the ocean economy.
- Two tickets to Simola Hillclimb 2025, a top sporting event held over three days – including pit entry.
- Two tickets to the Road Freight SME Summit, which offers networking and high-level conference speakers.
In addition to more prizes, making the awards event even more exciting, is the simplified and improved entry process. It takes just three simple steps to enter and be in the running for a road safety award.
Thanks to site upgrades, the process is streamlined. “The first of these changes is the merging of the first and second entries. There is now a single entry to complete for each category that a fleet or company enters. This cuts time by half and requires fewer input details,” Herbert explains.
“Despite fewer questions on the entry form, judges can still extensively evaluate you or your organisation’s commitment to improving road safety. Various other elements of the entry process contribute to streamlined entering and minimise the amount of time taken to enter the Fleet Safety Awards 2024.”
To remove any confusion, there is an online video demonstration of how it all works. “One thing to note is that previous profile information will have to be resubmitted for the 2024 entry, but it is a simple process,” Herbert assures.
To enter the Fleet Safety Awards, visit the entry site. Complete your entry in three simple steps: sign-up, sign-in and participate. The site also has useful information and guides to assist with submitting the best possible entry.
“It is thanks to feedback after last year’s awards that significant improvements were made. We listened to what each person had to say, which helped us create a smooth and efficient process,” says Herbert.
“We encourage everyone to seize the chance to be in the running to win one of the titles in the 2024 Fleet Safety Awards and to have an excellent chance of grabbing an early entry prize as well.”
MasterDrive encourages organisations and fleet members to submit their entries now, rather than later. It gives you more time to invest in your answers and avoid the last-minute rush.
“Join MasterDrive in promoting road safety in South Africa and, in the process, enjoy some fantastic giveaways as a show of appreciation for your commitment to a smooth and streamlined, but most importantly, successful process,” says Herbert.
