Reddam House Atlantic Seaboard returned from the 2025 Inter-Reddam Football Tournament with top honours, having secured gold in both the U19 Boys’ and U19 Girls’ divisions — an exceptional display of sporting dominance on the national stage.
Hosted by Reddam House Ballito, the tournament drew together six schools from across South Africa: Reddam House Atlantic Seaboard, Reddam House Ballito, Reddam House Umhlanga, Reddam House Helderfontein, Reddam House Waterfall and Reddam House Bedfordview. In an atmosphere charged with team spirit and healthy rivalry, Atlantic Seaboard’s teams delivered consistently commanding performances.
The Girls’ final was particularly memorable, with Atlantic Seaboard equalising in the final three seconds of extra time to push the match into penalties — ultimately securing victory in a dramatic shootout. The Boys’ team also demonstrated impressive form to finish at the top of their division.
In addition to team success, individual honours flowed Atlantic Seaboard’s way. Marco Za was named Boys’ Player of the Tournament, Samson Tesfaye received the Boys’ Goalkeeper of the Tournament award, and Shirel Castro was awarded Girls’ Goalkeeper of the Tournament — underlining the school’s strength across the field.
“These victories are not just the result of hard work and preparation, but also of unity and belief,” said Liséttè Noonan, Executive Head at Reddam House Atlantic Seaboard. “I’m incredibly proud of our players, who carried the school colours with skill and integrity.”
The tournament, hosted with warmth and professionalism by Reddam House Ballito, brought together schools with a shared commitment to excellence — and for Atlantic Seaboard, it marked a golden chapter in their sporting journey.
